A man in his mid-30s is due in court later this morning in relation to a drug seizure in Mallow Thursday night.
He is set to appear before a Special sitting of Cork District Court, at 12p.m. today.
A second man in his late-40s remains in Garda custody and is detained at Mallow Garda station under the provisions of Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Both men were arrested by Gardai in the Spa area of Mallow on 21 May.
One of the men sustained minor injuries after a garda fire arm was discharged at the scene.
