Councillor Mary Linehan-Foley told the November meeting of the East Cork Municipality in high tides people can’t reach their boats moored at Market dock in Youghal.
“there are ladders at market dock but we are short two, the gaps between the ladders when there is high tide or spring tide people can’t reach their boats as the gaps in between are two big.” she said.
The executive advised the councillor “there is provision in the 2014 budget for some harbour maintenance we might have enough money for this year to do it or one at least.”
