The Goal Post bar in Shanagary took out their best china as they participated in Irelands Biggest Coffee morning to raise funds for Marymount hospice.
This is the 14th year of the event in Shanagarry and organiser Helen Lewis told the Frontpagenews the coffee morning has always been very well supported. “Over the last 13 years we have raised €50,000 for Marymount Hospice.”
Helen added “when my mother was diagnosed with oral cancer in 2000 we received a letter from Marymount asking if we wanted to host a coffee morning. We have had no dealings with them as a service but you never know when you will. Caner affects everyone, we hear of people diagnosed every day.”
